Updates-new tutorial, new stationery, new wallpaper

I've finished a new background tile/stationery tutorial called Scratched Diamonds . It can be done in all the major graphic programs, PSP, PI, PS, PSE.
Here's a small preview of the tile and the stationery

I also have the Christmas Angel stationery and wallpaper up, the stationery and wallpaper to match the Fantasy tutorial I posted about just below, and also one extra set of stationery and wallpaper called I'm in the Mood for Love.
Find them all here: New Stationery New Wallpaper
I am having surgery tomorrow morning and if all goes well, I'll be out of the hospital in just a few days. So if you write and I don't respond, I'm still in the hospital or not quite recovered yet. Have a great week everyone!

New Translated tut-new permissions to translate-stationery fixed

I've received permission to translate the tutorials of Lamiagrafica so the tutorial Autunno (Autumn) I translated a couple of weeks ago is now uploaded. I made a mistake and asked the wrong person and Isa from Lamiagrafica wrote 2 days ago to let me know I had made a mistake, so all is well now. I've had the matching wallpaper and stationery uploaded for 2 weeks now but the stationery has the wrong info in the footer to credit the original writer and to add the link to my translation, so if you got it before, if you could please go and replace it with the corrected copy? Thanks. New Stationery
Here's a small preview of the tutorial

I have also been requested by a Dutch writer, Riet Kuisters, to translate her tutorials and I agreed. And of course Grafica Paola that I mentioned 2 weeks ago. I will hopefully be up to translating a number of tutorials from all of my ladies as soon after surgery (Nov 22) as I am recovered somewhat. I am translating for 13 writers now so I have many, many beautiful tutorials to choose from.
The index page for all of the writers I translate for is here.
It links to each writer's index page and also lists the home site of each writer.
Have a great day!

Scrapkit Challenge group

I forgot to mention in my post on Oct 31, when I posted about all of the Halloween scrapkits on my site, that Kathy B took over the group and the new address is:
Go check it out, she's going to keep the group alive and they're just starting a new kit. I bet you'd just love to join in! I think they're doing a wintery theme this time.
Keep your eyes on this blog for the announcement when the kits are done and uploaded for the public. They won't be on my site, but on Kathy's site and I'll give you the address to them when I have it.

November blinkie calendars up, also December blinkie and desktop calendars

I've made the November blinkie calendars and they're on the Blinkie Calendars page.
I've also made December's blinkie calendars and desktop calendars.
Sorry the November ones are slow in coming but the reason for that is also the reason I made the December calendars early. I'm on a liquid diet right now in preparation for surgery on Nov 22 and it's wiped out my energy and my creative muse. I'm having a hard time getting this stuff done but didn't want to let you down. I'll try and get a few scrap calendars done but I'm not promising anything. Sorry about that but I hope you enjoy what I've made so far!
I may not be able to be at my computer to make the December calendars, which is why I am putting them up early.
Have a great week!

820 megs of Halloween scrapkits on my site

My scrapkit challenge group have finished their Halloween kits. I almost forgot to tell you!
We have 29 full kits, 6 mini-kits, 1 paper pack, 1 set of Halloween brushes, 22 individual quick pages (9 downloads) and 3 layered templates.
In all about 820 megs of freebies thanks to my wonderful group members. They are all so talented!
You can find them here:
I've had to give up the group due to time and health problems, so I'll be leaving these up for a while as I won't have to remove them to make room for the next set.
Go and take a look and keep smiling!

Update-desktop calendars, new stat, new wallpaper, translation news

I've just uploaded the November Desktop Calendars and also a new stationery with matching wallpaper. New Stationery New Wallpaper
Here's a small preview.

I did ask the tutorial writer if I could translate it but I've heard nothing back and that was a couple of weeks ago, so unless I hear back I won't be adding the translation to my site.
Edit: I found out I had asked the wrong person and the original writer contacted me and gave me permission. Her site is Lamiagrafica . My translated tutorial link is here: Autunno (Autumn).
I also got permission from another Italian tut writer to translate her tutorials so look for them soon here. The site is Grafika Paola.

On another note, I'm in the middle of a blend tag translation and will have that done and uploaded, hopefully today. I'll post again when it's on the site.

Update #2 - new Halloween/Fantasy stationery and wallpaper, news about blinkie calendars

I've just uploaded a new Halloween/Fantasy stationery and wallpaper called Spider's Soul, using art from the talented Cris Ortega.
Here's a small sample of the graphic used in both the stationery and the wallpaper.

I was going to make the Blinkie calendars tomorrow but was just reminded by hubby that we are going on a day trip up north to see the colors and I'll be gone from very early morning to late evening, so the blinkie calendars will be a day late. Sorry about that.

Ingrid has added a new scrap item to her page, Magic Frames.

I've finished the Desktop Calendars and the Scrap Calendars for October.

Update-nearly 800 megs of scrap kits

Have I got a great surprise for you scrapping fans! My group, Ellie's Scrapkit Challenge has finished it's first month of kits. Check them out here.
Our theme was Autumn and we have 30 full kits, 5 minikits, 10 individual paper packs, 41 quick pages and layered templates, with a few of the kits already resized for taggers. Nearly 800 megs of stuff, all with the Autumn theme.
Our next theme will be Halloween, with the taggers kits coming out around the 15th or 16th of October and the full size kits coming out at the end of October. In the coming month we will have members making just taggers kits and others doing the full size kits, so we will be offering many more taggers kits for Halloween.
Keep your eye on these pages for the announcement when the taggers kits are ready.
Or subscribe to my update group, Ellie's Treasures Updates.
I have started a page for my own scrapkits as well. Check it out here, only my Autumn kit is there so far.
I have a new Scrapbooking Index Page for easy access to the group kits, my own kits, Ingrid's scrap kits, and the scrapbooking tutorial links page.
Here's a small preview of my own kit.

Believe me when I say there are many just as good and better on the Scrapkit Challenge Kits page.

Update-2 more July scrap calendars

I've uploaded the last two scrap calendars for July. They are both made using kits by Janniscrap Designs. Here are small previews.

The last one took a long time as it suddenly, and without any apparent effort on my part, turned into a tag burying my Mom's cute little dog, Buddy, in the sand! Took me hours! Poor doggie. LOL Here is how it ended up.

I had to make it right for you guys but just sharing the way my mind works sometimes. Mom will love it. Isn't he cute? He's a cross between a Welsh Corgi and a Jack Russell Terrier. Short little legs and sturdy little body. My brother called him a beer keg on legs and that's about right. LOL Too late to get the blinkie calendars done today so that will be my job for tomorrow. Have a great night everyone!
