HUGE update to Great Beginnings page now uploaded

Well, it's been a long time but I've been hard at work the last couple of weeks, on the Great Beginnings page. I thought it would never be done, what a job! LOL I've split the major sections into separate pages as the page was getting too long for easy browsing. The Great Beginnings index page is still in the same spot, here. The pages I've added to are the Tutorials page, the PSP English tutorials, I've added 322 new links to that section and checked the links with a link checker. I also added 1297 (that's not a typo, that's one thousand two hundred and ninety-seven!!) new links to the Scrapbooking page in the Scrap Blogs section and the Scrap-All The Other Stuff sections. The Scrap Blogs section has a subsection at the bottom for Blogs with Freebie Lists and Blog Train Stations. The link checker I used, Xenu Link Sleuth, is excellent and free! But it will only flag the link as dead if it leads nowhere, like a page not found. If it leads to one of those search pages that seems to take the place of expired domains recently, or a redirect page, or a page saying "I've closed my site down" or "I've moved my site", it won't flag it as a dead link. If you find any dead links, would you email me please and let me know? Also, if you have a site or blog you'd like to see added to my pages, or know of a good one to add, email me as well, and I'll go check it out. I hope you enjoy your surfing, I know I did (except not recently, too much like a job LOL) Once I recover from this marathon, I'll start adding to the new sections I've set up, such as Fonts, Blogger layouts, etc, also I have more links to add to existing sections. But I need a rest now. LOL I also have a number of tags that I haven't made into stationery and wallpaper yet, I hope to get to that soon. I've been buying up the tube companies so I have hundreds of copyright safe tubes to use and to replace in some of my existing stationery and wallpaper. Lots of new stuff coming up. After my rest. Great Beginnings page taking longer than expected

Hi everyone. I'm sorry the Great Beginnings page is taking longer than I expected to check before uploading. The job is huge to begin with and I thought the worst part was over in inputting the links. But for each dead link I find I have to check it out, see if I can find the site before deleting the link entirely, and then with my ADHD problems, I keep going off on a tangent. I may find the site or another one while looking for it, and think ok, I'll just add that one to the page too! Then of course I have to go and download kits, look up tuts and it just goes from one thing to another. I've almost got the PSP English tuts all checked, I'm up to the P's! LOL Since I'm splitting the page into various categories, as it's got too long for easy browsing, I'll upload the tuts section page as soon as I'm done with it. I hope it's worth the wait!! I think it is! LOL

Huge update to Great Beginnings Page coming up

Hi everyone. Just got back from a 10 day camping trip and I spent half of it in the trailer adding over 1300 links to my Great Beginnings page, over 200 in PSP English tuts and over a thousand in the Scrap Designer's section. I've just got to run it through a dead links checker and I'll upload it in a day or two. I didn't have the net while camping so couldn't check the links as I went along. The Scrap Designer's update was so overwhelming that I kept putting off updating the page but I just took the bit between my teeth and went to work! Nose to the grindstone, and all that. LOL Checking the links and going back and forth deleting and updating is now picnic either with that many links to check!
I'll let you know when I have it uploaded. Then it's back to work on updating all of my stationery and wallpaper pages. I've bought a ton of tubes and have to make my stuff as copyright compliant as I can.

Second update today: 16 new links to English PSP Tuts-Great Beginnings page

I added 16 new links to English PSP Tutorial section on my Great Beginnings page, corrected link to Hood's Tutorials and deleted a few dead links in the same section.

Hi everyone: I just added 163 new psp tutorial site links to my Great Beginnings page, in the PSP English tutorials section. I've also repaired links there and deleted dead ones.
I hope to add many more links to the entire page in the next few weeks, time permitting.

New page on site - List of scrapbooking element tutorials

I almost forgot to tell you about this. I've added a new feature to my site, mainly to help my Scrapbook Challenge group but I'll share it with all of you as well. This is a list of Scrapbooking tutorial links, not tutorials I've written but tutorials I've found on the Internet, for PSP, PhotoImpact and Photoshop/Photoshop Elements. I'll add to it as time permits. It's called Scrapbooking Tutorial Links. How original is that?? LOL Check it out, maybe you'll find some new tuts. This is a list of links to specific tutorials. Update-100 scrap blogs added to Great Beginnings page

Well a day late but I couldn't get to it yesterday. I just added 100 new links to the Scrapbooking section, Blogs and Blogs with Freebie lists categories to my Great Beginnings page. I counted the groups I added yesterday to the scrapbooking section and there were 96! So that was a total of 289 links added yesterday and now another 100 today. Wow I'm tired! LOL
If your site, blog or group is listed on my page and there is an error, please let me know and I'll correct it. If you want your link on my Great Beginnings page, email me and send my your link and I'll check it out. So many of you have done that and I thank you for that. Fun for me and fun for my readers! If you spot or know of a broken link, please let me know and I'll correct that as well. My email link is in the left column.
Now I'm taking a rest for a day or two. Maybe. I just spotted a tutorial I want to do and also I woke up this morning with a tutorial I want to write racing through my head (and that wasn't a pretty sight LOL), along with a song lyric I want to add to it. Mmmhh. Maybe no rest is going to be had.

Update-Great Beginnings page-289 new links in scrapbooking section-more to come

I promised I would upload the updated Great Beginnings page tonight whether I was done or not, so I just did that. 193 new links in the Scrapbooking section in these categories - Tutorials, Supplies-Free, Supplies-Commercial, Scrap links and toplists, Forums/Chatrooms, and a whole new category of Scrap Groups, mainly Yahoo groups so far. 96 links in that category. I didn't realize there were so many. I started surfing for them today and ended up doing it all day, still not done. So tomorrow I'll add any more groups I find, and also the biggie, the Scrap Blogs section. I have a lot to add there. So check it out now. All of the new links are marked. And tomorrow I'll let you know when I've uploaded it again with even more links. I have a great many links in other sections to add as well, such as PSP, PS, PI tutorial sites, font sites, etc. Have a great night! I taped Canadian Idol and I'm off to watch it.

Updates-translated tag tutorial, desktop wallpaper, stationery

I have another translated tutorial uploaded, a beautiful blend tag called Morocco, originally written by Mabel of Miss Daisy tutorial site for PSP in Spanish. I also have 3 New Wallpaper and New Stationery to match. It looks like the thumbnail on the left (but bigger LOL).

I'm working on my Great Beginnings page, Scrapbooking section first. I worked on it all day yesterday and have 153 new links added and have probably twice that still to add, just in that one section. Lots of work! I also want to add links to some of the other categories as well. I have literally thousands of links to add, more categories and sections, etc. I will upload whatever I have done later today but will continue to add more in the next few days.

Hi everyone. Ingrid has a new mini scrap kit available as a freebie, called "Inspired by Nature Part 1", on her page Ingrid Scrap Designs. She is thinking of making 3 more mini kits in the Inspired by Nature series so show her some love when downloading from her 4shared site and encourage her to give us more! I just got back from camping and was able to get 5 translations done. If the weather had been nicer and hubby off hiking or biking I would have been able to do more, but it rained nonstop and was very cold and he had nothing to do so I let him use the computer to play with his retirement budget. Kept him happy and I read! Got through 6 books. I will be getting those tutorials assembled and uploaded hopefully today and tomorrow. I then want to get a ton of links added to my Great Beginnings page. Guess it's getting famous as I now get site and blog owners writing and asking to be put on the page. Woohoo! LOL I always check them out, though, to make sure it's someplace you'd want to go! I'll post again when I get the rest of the stuff added. Have a great day!
