4 Translations done and lots of new stationery

I've got 4 translations done for you, that's right, a whopping 4 of them! LOL
2 of Duchessa's beautiful blends and 2 of Futura's cute animated tags.
I finished them for the most part during the summer while on my trip and then just didn't have the energy to get them online, but feeling guilty here, so thought I'd get them done!
Stationery to match is also done and online, wallpaper coming next.
Click this link for New Stationery
Here are some small examples of the tutorials and the links.
You can't see it here, as blogger (for me anyway) doesn't show the animation, but they're all animated, but you can do them either way. I did!
Gold (Duchessa)

Love Blend (Duchessa)

And I'll Love You Always (Futura)

Don't Stop The Music (Futura)

Hugs, Ellie

Update - 2 new translated tutorials-note about synching software

I've got 2 new translations done from Violette at Violettegraphics.
A beautiful frame tut called Cadre Valentin and a gorgeous blend tag called Amour Toujours. Here are small examples:

I hope you like them! I haven't done the matching stationery and wallpaper yet, I hope to get that done in the next day or two. Hubby's home on vacation next week so I'm not sure how much I'll get done.
I've been having major computer problems. I started smelling really strong burning plastic a few days ago so frantically started burning things off on DVD's, like my website. Then it started shutting itself down, with no word of warning. John got it going again and I would back up more stuff and it would shut down again. Finally I convinced him that yes, you can fix the power supply yourself. So he did! He said the only thing he's never fixed on a computer yet is the motherboard, and I told him he may find out this week how to do that too, depending on if any damage was done to the motherboard during this little adventure. So wish me luck! It's been a rough winter trying to get things done for my site, between my surgery, lack of energy and now computer problems. Thank goodness I lost no data though. Yet.I'd been procrastinating about setting up a backup program, but there's nothing like the feeling of OMG, I'm going to lose everything to kick you in the bum about getting that done. I bought a 500 gig external hard drive (at half price!) and started backing up everything. I actually found out I didn't need a backup program as much as I needed a synching program. So I found AllSync and I love it. After the first batch of backing up the original folders, it now backs up 270 gigs of my data every night in 20 minutes! All it does is look for changed, deleted or added folders and files and it mirrors the original folder exactly, leaving the unchanged files alone. What a great program. Have a great night everyone!

Update-new tutorial, Tag Julie, translated from Violettegraphic

I've got another new translated tutorial uploaded, Tag Julie, from Violettegraphic. Here's a small preview:

Isn't it a beauty? There's matching stationery and wallpaper as well, find them here
New Stationery New Wallpaper
Violette has new tutorials every month and has tutorials for PhotoImpact as well as PSP. Go check out her site and if there's one you want me to translate, just write and ask. I did this Julie tag on request from one of my site visitors.
I have a few more translations done but not assembled, from when I went camping last month. 5 of them I think. I hope to have them done and uploaded in the next week. There are 2 from X-clusive Designz, 1 from Marian's PSP Lessens, 1 from Jetje's PSP Creaties, and 1 from Miss Daisy. The one from Marian is another one done on request of a site visitor and it's called Past.
On another note, I joined a forum called PSP Classic Creations a little while back but didn't post. I got a reminder from the forum owner and checked it out again. I really like it, and for the first time ever I entered a challenge and posted yesterday. Go check out the forum, it's really great, categories for everyone from scrappers, taggers, pixelers, animators, etc. There's new stuff every day, from Tut of the Day to Tube of the Day, Mask Monday, tuts for all of the categories, lots of resources there, challenges, etc. Maybe I'll see you there (but I don't post much!). Have a super day!

I've finished translating a scrap tag tutorial for PSP from Le-Beatrice tutorial site, called Scrap Flower. It looks like the preview on the left, but bigger!

I've also made stationery and desktop wallpaper to match. Find them here: New Stationery New Wallpaper If you go to Daty's site (Le-Beatrice) and see a tutorial you'd like me to translate, let me know (Email link at the left). She does have other translators as well but if she gives permission I may translate it. I'm off camping for a few days and I hope to have some nice things finished while I'm gone, so hopefully you'll have some nice surprises on my return!
I also just got permission to translate Steffi's tutorials and they are simply beautiful. Check out her site. Again, if you see something you'd like me to translate, let me know.

Updates-translated tag tutorial, desktop wallpaper, stationery

I have another translated tutorial uploaded, a beautiful blend tag called Morocco, originally written by Mabel of Miss Daisy tutorial site for PSP in Spanish. I also have 3 New Wallpaper and New Stationery to match. It looks like the thumbnail on the left (but bigger LOL).

I'm working on my Great Beginnings page, Scrapbooking section first. I worked on it all day yesterday and have 153 new links added and have probably twice that still to add, just in that one section. Lots of work! I also want to add links to some of the other categories as well. I have literally thousands of links to add, more categories and sections, etc. I will upload whatever I have done later today but will continue to add more in the next few days.
Have a great day everyone!

Updates-Scrap tag tutorial, stationery, desktop wallpaper, Abstract Weasel shirts

I have one of Marian's (of Marian's PSP-Lessen) scrap tutorials translated, one called Faith. The tag is featured to the left here. I loved the wallpaper made with this one so much I made 5 different versions, ones with just borders and then ones with ribbons and flowers embellishments. One featuring the tag, and the rest have no tag in the middle. I used a combination of the grungy green plaid and the cream colored floral to make the wallpaper. Also, new stationery to match, of course!
New Stationery New Wallpaper
I want to remind you that if you go to any of the tutorial writer's sites that I translate for, and you see one you'd like me to do, let me know and I'll take it under consideration. I did this one because one of my site visitors requested it. Some of the other's I've done were a request by a site visitor as well. You can find an index page with all of the writer's home sites linked here.
Tami also has 2 new shirt designs that are shown on her Abstract Weasel page. The ones I feature here are only a small selection of what she actually has so go take a look at her site. You'll love what she has. Shirts for every taste!

Update-new translated tut, new tut of my own, stationery, wallpaper

I have another translated tutorial uploaded, Scrap Fête des Mères, a scrap tag tutorial, originally written by Violette of Violettegraphic. I've also added 3 more desktop wallpaper (wallpapers? LOL), 1 based on the Fête des Mères tag and 2 simple background ones to go with it. Also new stationery using the tag. You can find them here New Wallpaper New StationeryI also have another tutorial of my own uploaded, Text on a Path in PSP. This is a method I came up with while camping, with no internet access and no tutorial available, and a need to make curved text. It is super simple and I don't think I've seen this done before. So it's mine!! LOL I needed it for the pictured tag, Scrap Fête des Mères.Have a wonderful day!

Update-New scrap blend tag tutorial, new stationery, wallpaper, new shirts

I have a few updates for you. I've finished my new Scrap Blend tutorial, called This Little Light. You can find the links to it here for the various programs. I've written it for PSP, PhotoImpact, Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. There's a small screenshot to the left of the finished tag.

As you will see, I'm making a few changes to my site navigation. Easier for me and less pages to work on. When you follow the link I gave for the tag tutorial, you will see that I have one Tag Index page now and under each screenshot of the tut is a link to each individual program it's written for. I think this will be much better. It's a lot of work to change this around so I'll be working on it slowly. For now, the Tag Tutorial pages are done. I have stationery and wallpaper uploaded that matches this new tutorial. Check them out here: New Wallpaper New Stationery
My daughter Tami also has a couple of new shirts on her Abstract Weasel clothing page.
Have a super day everyone!

Scrap tag for Photoshop-Photoshop Elements

I've just finished converting one of my translated tutorials, Life's Journey originally by Marian's PSP Lessen, to Photoshop-Photoshop Elements. You can find it here. I've come to a decision to not convert any more translated tutorials to the other programs. I've been looking at the visitors to those pages and they're not enough to warrant all of the extra time it takes. For instance, the conversion of this one tutorial to Photoshop-Photoshop Elements, took me 2 days. When I do a straight translation without converting, I can often have it done in a couple of hours or even less. I will still write my own tutorials for all of the programs, but not the translated ones. I have to drop something as I just don't have the time to do anything else. Violette has PI tutorials on her site as well as PSP. I will be translating her PI tutorials to English ones. I hope you understand. I will have more time to translate the PSP ones as well as write my own, and also create all of those other goodies you like! Have a great day!
