Scrapkit Challenge group

I forgot to mention in my post on Oct 31, when I posted about all of the Halloween scrapkits on my site, that Kathy B took over the group and the new address is: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/ScrapKitChallenge/
Go check it out, she's going to keep the group alive and they're just starting a new kit. I bet you'd just love to join in! I think they're doing a wintery theme this time.
Keep your eyes on this blog for the announcement when the kits are done and uploaded for the public. They won't be on my site, but on Kathy's site and I'll give you the address to them when I have it.

820 megs of Halloween scrapkits on my site

My scrapkit challenge group have finished their Halloween kits. I almost forgot to tell you!
We have 29 full kits, 6 mini-kits, 1 paper pack, 1 set of Halloween brushes, 22 individual quick pages (9 downloads) and 3 layered templates.
In all about 820 megs of freebies thanks to my wonderful group members. They are all so talented!
You can find them here:
http://www.ellies-treasures.com/scrapkit-challenge-kits/scrapkit-challenge-kits.html
I've had to give up the group due to time and health problems, so I'll be leaving these up for a while as I won't have to remove them to make room for the next set.
Go and take a look and keep smiling!

Taggers scrap kits up for grabs

Hi everyone. I've added the Halloween Taggers Scrapkits to the Scrapkit Challenge Kits pages. There are 11 there for you to choose from. The full size kits will be out in a few days, also with the Halloween theme. There are lots of beautiful full size kits coming your way!

Autumn kits coming down

If you want any of the Autumn scrap kits, now's the time to get them.
http://www.ellies-treasures.com/scrapkit-challenge-kits/scrapkit-challenge-kits.html
I have to start uploading the Halloween kits so my group members can make the quick-pages and templates, and I need the space. Tomorrow morning I will take down the Autumn kits. At that time, I will add the Halloween taggers kits so you can access them. The full size Halloween kits should be on the Kit page on the 25th of October.

Update-nearly 800 megs of scrap kits

Have I got a great surprise for you scrapping fans! My group, Ellie's Scrapkit Challenge has finished it's first month of kits. Check them out here.
Our theme was Autumn and we have 30 full kits, 5 minikits, 10 individual paper packs, 41 quick pages and layered templates, with a few of the kits already resized for taggers. Nearly 800 megs of stuff, all with the Autumn theme.
Our next theme will be Halloween, with the taggers kits coming out around the 15th or 16th of October and the full size kits coming out at the end of October. In the coming month we will have members making just taggers kits and others doing the full size kits, so we will be offering many more taggers kits for Halloween.
Keep your eye on these pages for the announcement when the taggers kits are ready.
Or subscribe to my update group, Ellie's Treasures Updates.
I have started a page for my own scrapkits as well. Check it out here, only my Autumn kit is there so far.
I have a new Scrapbooking Index Page for easy access to the group kits, my own kits, Ingrid's scrap kits, and the scrapbooking tutorial links page.
Here's a small preview of my own kit.

Believe me when I say there are many just as good and better on the Scrapkit Challenge Kits page.

New page on site - List of scrapbooking element tutorials

I almost forgot to tell you about this. I've added a new feature to my site, mainly to help my Scrapbook Challenge group but I'll share it with all of you as well. This is a list of Scrapbooking tutorial links, not tutorials I've written but tutorials I've found on the Internet, for PSP, PhotoImpact and Photoshop/Photoshop Elements. I'll add to it as time permits. It's called Scrapbooking Tutorial Links. How original is that?? LOL Check it out, maybe you'll find some new tuts. This is a list of links to specific tutorials. If you want a list of links to Scrapbooking tutorial sites, check out my Great Beginnings page.
Hugs, Ellie

Update-new scrap freebie, new stationery, new desktop wallpaper

Good morning folks! Ingrid has a new scrap freebie for you, the 3rd part to her beautiful Inspired by Nature kit. Don't forget to leave her some love on the download page.
I have just uploaded the new stationery and wallpaper to match the tutorials I uploaded yesterday. Check them out here: New Stationery New Wallpaper
Today I'll be working on preparing the next set of translations I did, some stationery tutorials by PSPIArtes, for the web. I have the stationery done, need to assemble the tutorials into web pages and do the wallpaper. You'll probably see them up on the site later today.
Have a great day!

Update-2 more July scrap calendars

I've uploaded the last two scrap calendars for July. They are both made using kits by Janniscrap Designs. Here are small previews.

The last one took a long time as it suddenly, and without any apparent effort on my part, turned into a tag burying my Mom's cute little dog, Buddy, in the sand! Took me hours! Poor doggie. LOL Here is how it ended up.

I had to make it right for you guys but just sharing the way my mind works sometimes. Mom will love it. Isn't he cute? He's a cross between a Welsh Corgi and a Jack Russell Terrier. Short little legs and sturdy little body. My brother called him a beer keg on legs and that's about right. LOL Too late to get the blinkie calendars done today so that will be my job for tomorrow. Have a great night everyone!

Update-100 scrap blogs added to Great Beginnings page

Well a day late but I couldn't get to it yesterday. I just added 100 new links to the Scrapbooking section, Blogs and Blogs with Freebie lists categories to my Great Beginnings page. I counted the groups I added yesterday to the scrapbooking section and there were 96! So that was a total of 289 links added yesterday and now another 100 today. Wow I'm tired! LOL
If your site, blog or group is listed on my page and there is an error, please let me know and I'll correct it. If you want your link on my Great Beginnings page, email me and send my your link and I'll check it out. So many of you have done that and I thank you for that. Fun for me and fun for my readers! If you spot or know of a broken link, please let me know and I'll correct that as well. My email link is in the left column.
Now I'm taking a rest for a day or two. Maybe. I just spotted a tutorial I want to do and also I woke up this morning with a tutorial I want to write racing through my head (and that wasn't a pretty sight LOL), along with a song lyric I want to add to it. Mmmhh. Maybe no rest is going to be had.
Have a super night everyone.

New scrap freebie from Ingrid, new shirt in Abstract Weasel, making a scrap kit

I've just added another new scrap design from Ingrid on her page. I've also added another shirt design to my daughter's page, Abstract Weasel. In both pages, I've added the new item to the top to make them easier to find. I'm in the middle of creating my first scrap kit, what a job! I'm learning a lot though as so far I haven't used any tutorials, I'm making them up on PhotoImpact as I go along. I'll let you know when I'm done. It's huge so I may give away a piece, or a few pieces, a day on my blog when it's ready. I'll be doing another translation soon. I've had a few requests for more Jetje tuts so I'll do one of hers next. Have a great day everyone!

Huge reaction to scrap calendars

I've had a huge reaction to my Scrap Calendars. Apparently you love them! If I get a chance, I'll make more for May, at least a couple. I'll certainly make more for June.

Calendar updates for May

I have the desktop calendars done for May and I have added a new feature and a new page, Scrap Calendars. I only have one done so far. Let me know if you like them and I'll make more. Here's an example of the scrap calendar. They are not desktop size but 560X420.

I also have the Blinkie Calendars uploaded. Check it out and pick your favorite! As always, 6 to choose from.As you may have noticed, I now have an index page for the various calendars I make. If you have any questions or comments, click on the comments section below this post. Have a great day!
