New tutorial, Goodbye Summer, new wallpaper, stationery, Sept desktop calendar

Hi everyone. I finally got that tutorial online, Goodbye Summer. Went camping this past week and wrote another 3 but may not be able to use one as the kit is gone online. That's the problem in working blind, with no internet connection to make sure things are still available.
I also just completed and uploaded the wallpaper, September desktop calendar and stationery to match the tutorial
Here's the new tut, click on the link or the image to get to it.
I'll be working on the other 2 tuts I wrote next.
Have a great Sunday!
Have fun!

Update-new tutorial, desktop calendar

I have a new tag tutorial, a scrap tag called To Love . . .
Here's a small example

This tutorial can be done in any graphics program, including PSP, PhotoImpact, Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, any version.
I didn't make the matching stationery or wallpaper yet as I wanted to get the tutorial uploaded for Valentine Day, it's this Friday already! I'll be working on the stationery and wallpaper and get it up soon. I'll announce it here when I have it ready. I also put one more desktop calendar up. I'm still working on my Valentine and Love & Romance stationery and wallpaper pages and I'm adding what I've done as I go along. I've written two more tutorials, one for Fiesta Strip stationery and one for Stacked Border stationery, but don't have them ready to upload yet. Soon, I promise!

New translated blend tag tutorial-stationery-wallpaper

I've just translated a new blend tag tutorial, Country Companions, originally written in Dutch by Lien of X-clusive Designz. It's for PSP. Here's a small sample.

A beautiful, Autumn blend tag. I just love it!
I have also received permission to translate tutorials for Secret of Luna, a French site. Only a few tutorials there but they are very nice. I hope to have one of them done soon.
I've also uploaded matching stationery and wallpaper. New Stationery New Wallpaper
But first, on to the monthly calendars for October. I'm running out of time!! I hope to have them all done tomorrow and uploaded. I've finished the desktop ones and one mini scrap but none are uploaded yet. Tomorrow, I'm tired. LOL Have a great night everyone.

Update-nearly 800 megs of scrap kits

Have I got a great surprise for you scrapping fans! My group, Ellie's Scrapkit Challenge has finished it's first month of kits. Check them out here.
Our theme was Autumn and we have 30 full kits, 5 minikits, 10 individual paper packs, 41 quick pages and layered templates, with a few of the kits already resized for taggers. Nearly 800 megs of stuff, all with the Autumn theme.
Our next theme will be Halloween, with the taggers kits coming out around the 15th or 16th of October and the full size kits coming out at the end of October. In the coming month we will have members making just taggers kits and others doing the full size kits, so we will be offering many more taggers kits for Halloween.
Keep your eye on these pages for the announcement when the taggers kits are ready.
Or subscribe to my update group, Ellie's Treasures Updates.
I have started a page for my own scrapkits as well. Check it out here, only my Autumn kit is there so far.
I have a new Scrapbooking Index Page for easy access to the group kits, my own kits, Ingrid's scrap kits, and the scrapbooking tutorial links page.
Here's a small preview of my own kit.

Believe me when I say there are many just as good and better on the Scrapkit Challenge Kits page.

Just back from camping-new translated tutorials coming

Hi everyone: I hope you're having a great summer! We just got back from camping and I finished translating 15 tutorials while I was gone. I'll be adding them to the site as I get them assembled into webpages and uploaded. Stay tuned! I'll be announcing each one as I add them to the the site. Of course for each tutorial translated I will be making stationery and wallpaper from the results so there will be lots more of those as well. I am also accumulating quite a backlog of blend and scrap tags I want to make into tag collections as soon as I get the time.
Have a great week!
Hugs, Ellie

I've finished translating a scrap tag tutorial for PSP from Le-Beatrice tutorial site, called Scrap Flower. It looks like the preview on the left, but bigger!

I've also made stationery and desktop wallpaper to match. Find them here: New Stationery New Wallpaper If you go to Daty's site (Le-Beatrice) and see a tutorial you'd like me to translate, let me know (Email link at the left). She does have other translators as well but if she gives permission I may translate it. I'm off camping for a few days and I hope to have some nice things finished while I'm gone, so hopefully you'll have some nice surprises on my return!
I also just got permission to translate Steffi's tutorials and they are simply beautiful. Check out her site. Again, if you see something you'd like me to translate, let me know.

Updates-Canadian and Canada Day scrap tags, stationery, desktop wallpaper

I've converted the Canadian scrap calendar I made yesterday into a number of new stationery, desktop wallpaper and tags. They don't have the calendar on them. There are two designs, "Happy Canada Day"

and "Proud to be a Canadian"

so they can be used for longer than just Canada Day! Hate to have my work thrown away after one day! There are small samples of each design on the left. If you like these tiny previews, feel free to snag them and use them as tags. There are larger tags on the New Tag page. Don't remove my watermark please.
Both of these designs were made with the Canada Day scrap kit by Fishinmom Designs.
I'm running behind! Why do I take these projects on when I have to be making my calendars! LOL Gotta run now. Bye.

Update-new translated tut, new tut of my own, stationery, wallpaper

I have another translated tutorial uploaded, Scrap Fête des Mères, a scrap tag tutorial, originally written by Violette of Violettegraphic. I've also added 3 more desktop wallpaper (wallpapers? LOL), 1 based on the Fête des Mères tag and 2 simple background ones to go with it. Also new stationery using the tag. You can find them here New Wallpaper New StationeryI also have another tutorial of my own uploaded, Text on a Path in PSP. This is a method I came up with while camping, with no internet access and no tutorial available, and a need to make curved text. It is super simple and I don't think I've seen this done before. So it's mine!! LOL I needed it for the pictured tag, Scrap Fête des Mères.Have a wonderful day!

Update-New scrap blend tag tutorial, new stationery, wallpaper, new shirts

I have a few updates for you. I've finished my new Scrap Blend tutorial, called This Little Light. You can find the links to it here for the various programs. I've written it for PSP, PhotoImpact, Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. There's a small screenshot to the left of the finished tag.

As you will see, I'm making a few changes to my site navigation. Easier for me and less pages to work on. When you follow the link I gave for the tag tutorial, you will see that I have one Tag Index page now and under each screenshot of the tut is a link to each individual program it's written for. I think this will be much better. It's a lot of work to change this around so I'll be working on it slowly. For now, the Tag Tutorial pages are done. I have stationery and wallpaper uploaded that matches this new tutorial. Check them out here: New Wallpaper New Stationery
My daughter Tami also has a couple of new shirts on her Abstract Weasel clothing page.
Have a super day everyone!

One of my own tutorials, Misty Stationery, has been translated into German by Renate and Erika of PSPRatte.

Scrap tag for Photoshop-Photoshop Elements

I've just finished converting one of my translated tutorials, Life's Journey originally by Marian's PSP Lessen, to Photoshop-Photoshop Elements. You can find it here. I've come to a decision to not convert any more translated tutorials to the other programs. I've been looking at the visitors to those pages and they're not enough to warrant all of the extra time it takes. For instance, the conversion of this one tutorial to Photoshop-Photoshop Elements, took me 2 days. When I do a straight translation without converting, I can often have it done in a couple of hours or even less. I will still write my own tutorials for all of the programs, but not the translated ones. I have to drop something as I just don't have the time to do anything else. Violette has PI tutorials on her site as well as PSP. I will be translating her PI tutorials to English ones. I hope you understand. I will have more time to translate the PSP ones as well as write my own, and also create all of those other goodies you like! Have a great day!
